General Summary of Position:* Coordinates daily activities and schedules for the special procedures component of the Radiology department to ensure effective and efficient patient services. Assists the interventional radiologist in the performance of complex diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures.Education:* Associate's degree or one to three years formal training in an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology is required.Experience:* Approximately one to two years of progressively more responsible job related experience in the performance of angiography and other complex radiological examinations.Certification/Registration/Licensure:* Must have passed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) examination and be AART certified.About MedStar HealthMedStar Health is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for people in Maryland and the Washington, D.C., region, while advancing the practice of medicine through education, innovation and research.
