Description SAIC is looking for Technical Support in Washington, D.C. The candidate resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. Responsibilities Include: * Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. * May route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists. * Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. * Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. * Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically. * Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. * Advise users on appropriate action. * Follow standard deskside procedures. * Log all deskside interactions and resolves issues; escalates issues as required. * Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to appropriate resource. * Track and route problems and requests and documents resolutions.
