Comcast is using cutting-edge technology to make world-class products for our customers. We are applying machine learning to a wide range of products, and we need your help. As a Product Manager for AI, you will work side-by-side with data scientists, engineers and other technologists who are building great experiences for our customers.
In this role you will work with our Media Analytics and Content Discovery teams. These teams focus on using machine learning to advance our entertainment products. This role will be responsible for ensuring our engineering teams are focusing on solving the right problems, and that they have the right data to do so. It will be your job to understand customers' needs for the products our team creates and measure these products throughout the product lifecycle.
Ideation around new product features and deliverables
Requirements definition in the form of user stories and an engineering backlog
Prioritization of engineering work
Working closely with data scientists to build test sets that are representative of customers' needs
Establish and manage metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements
Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders for requirements intake
Designing market research in the form of surveys, interviews, focus groups or whatever means necessary
Partnering with UX design to create best of breed user experiences
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes
Analytical skills (Tableau a plus)
Some knowledge and/or working experience with programming languages is a plus
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills both at an individual and team level
Effective organizational skills; ability to multi-task
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
Ability to think analytically and to develop new or revised systems, procedures, and work flow.
Ability to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and present ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral form.
2+ years working in a Product Management (or similar) role
BA/BS degree in a technical field or business
Comfortable working with cross functional teams to drive schedules and priorities
Moderate travel required (20%)
